Khawaja Saad Rafique says amendment to constitution can be discussed

LAHORE (92 News) – PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique said that the constitution is a man-made law and amendment to it, if need be, can be discussed. Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that the PML-N has not been contacted with regard to the amendment to the 18th Amendment. He said that their meeting with the Chaudhry was not a signal to the change. “Changes in the NAB laws are not the problem of the PML-N. The business community is in jail under the NAB laws and they should be provided with justice,” he maintained. The PML-N MNA said that the constitutional amendment is not a problem of one day. “The Punjabis had given the sacrifice in the 18th amendment. Punjab gave its share to the small provicnes,” he said. He said that the economy and the NAB laws cannot go side by side. “The business community and civil officers have been affected by the NAB laws,” he added.
