Khurram Dastgir terms US President Joe Biden's statement baseless

GUJRANWALA (92 News) - Federal Minister for Energy Khurram Dastgir has categorically rejected the statement of US President Joe Biden, terming it baseless.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday, he said that Biden, who is a guest for a few days, had given the irresponsible statement for his political gains. "The suspicions expressed by Biden are totally wrong," he maintained.

The minister said that Pakistan's Nuclear Programme Command and Control System is completely safe and international agencies have also endorsed it.

He said that the people are expressing their indifference in the public meetings of Imran Khan. "On the contrary, we will not kidnap any presiding officer like the Imran Khan government," he added.

Khurram Dastgir said that the coal reserves in Thar could generate 100,000 megawatts electricity. He claimed the power supply had been restored across the country after the major breakdown.
