Khurshid Shah bail plea: NAB prosecutor reprimanded for unsatisfactory reply

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh High Court, while hearing the bail plea of PPP leader Syed Khurshid Shah in the assets beyond income case, reprimanded the NAB prosecutor for a unsatisfactory reply.

The court remarked that the NAB is unable to conduct the right investigations. The court also summoned the Sukkur NAB director on the next date of hearing.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed a reference amounting to over Rs230 million against Khurshid Shah. As many as 18 people have been nominated in the reference. The nominated people include Khurshid Shah, his wives Bibi Talat and Bibi Gulnaz, sons Furrukh Shah and Zeerak Shah and nephew and Sindh Minister Awais Qadir Shah.

The reference includes 600 acres of agricultural land, accounts and plots and Karachi and Sukkur.
