Khurshid Shah demands reforms in PCB, change of chairman

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Disgruntled by the humiliating loss of series to a young and inexperienced Bangladesh team, Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Khurshid Shah has demanded a change in the leadership of the Pakistan Cricket Board. Expressing his views on the floor of the House on Wednesday, Khurshid Shah severely criticised the national cricket team’s performance and its management. “The utter humiliation of Pakistani team in Dhaka could be heard in the assembly as well,” he said. “Along with changing the PCB chairman, thorough reforms are needed in the system to uplift the standard of cricket in the country.” Defending the performance of the national team, Federal Minister for Sports Riaz Pirzada said that the Bangladesh team is in form and performing well these days. “The national team could not present the teamwork,” he said. “The team consists of young players which will learn with a passage of time.”
