Khwaja Asif leaves for Moscow to attend security conference, discuss mutual cooperation

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Defence Khwaja Asif left for Moscow on a three-day trip to attend a security conference on Wednesday. According to sources, the minister is also expected to meet top Russian officials to discuss issues of Pak-Russia mutual cooperation. Icy relations between the two countries thawed last year when Russian Defence Minister  Sergei Shoigu visited Pakistan aimed to discuss bilateral defence cooperation. Russia has also shown intent to invest in different sectors in Pakistan.
