Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM applauds Fawad Chaudhry for slapping journalist

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan praised Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry for slapping a journalist. The federal minister met with Mahmood Khan during his visit to Peshawar where they discussed the matter of slapping journalist. A video clip has surfaced in which the KP chief minister can be heard telling Fawad Chaudhry that he did a ‘great job’ slapping journalist. In the video, explaining why he did so, the minister said, “Sir, is this something one should do? Just for the sake of ratings.” abruptly. During the conversation, KP Information Minister Shaukat Ali Yousafzai also lamented on the matter. Meanwhile, senior journalists, anchors, and political leaders have condemned such conversations over slapping journalists. Fawad Chaudhry had slapped a journalist a few months ago at a private event. However, he had had a physical altercation with the TV anchor last month at a wedding event.
