Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government announces to move court against PML-N leaders
October 10, 2015
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to move against the PML-N leaders for leveling allegations against it. Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Saturday, Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak said that the PTI government had not invested any amount in the Stock Exchange. “The MMA government had invested Rs 500 million in the Stock Exchange from 2005 to 2008. Our government withdrew the amount. We have decided to send a defamation suit notice to the PML-N leaders,” he announced. The chief minister said that those say no work has been done in KP should visit the province and witness that they had changed the education, health and police station system. “The PTI is working to change the system. Now it has become difficult to commit corruption.” Pervaiz Khattak said that they had not supported the Kalabagh Dam. “The federal government should remove reservations of the provinces,” he added. He said that work on the 1800MW power project is going on. “The power generation cost per mega watt in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is Rs 250 million. Power is being generated from the same water at a high rate in Punjab,” he maintained.
