Kidnapped trader recovered from Karachi’s Gadap area

KARACHI (92 News) – The trader kidnapped from Defence area was recovered from Gadap area on Friday. Addressing a press conference, DIG CIA Dr Amin Yousaf said that Latif Sorthia was kidnapped from the Defence area and the kidnappers had demanded Rs 60 million for his release. He said that the trader was recovered from Gadap area and the owner of the house where he was recovered had been arrested. Latif Sorthia thanked the Sindh police for recovering him. “The kidnappers used to tie him with ropes. The police reached the site and shifted me safely after inquiring my name,” he disclosed.
