Kidnapping attempt of female student failed at SALU university

KHAIRPUR (92 News) – An unconscious female student was luckily saved from being kidnapped by unidentified men from Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) in Khairpur on Tuesday. According to the details garnered, the sources said that a group of unidentified men were reportedly attempted to take an unconscious female student of the SALU University in a vehicle. It was also reported that the alleged abductors fled from the site, leaving behind the female student when other students shouted to get public attention over the happening. The victim student has been shifted to Civil Hospital. The university denied to any comment on the matter. Earlier, a girl was mysteriously abducted by the unidentified persons from DHA Bukhari Commercial in Karachi. According to the details garnered, a teenage boy has also sustained severe gunshot wound as unidentified people in a vehicle fired bullets and abducted the girl forcefully walking alongside with him. The victims are identified as Dua and Haris. The incident took place in DHA Bukhari Commercial where a group of men in a vehicle fled after kidnapping the girl. Haris was later shifted to the hospital in critical condition after being the incident. The investigation process has been expedited by the officials of police and Rangers to get more evidences and CCTV footages but facing difficulties to acquire it as the trade centres around the incident’s site were shut at late night. The investigation team reached at the spot and started inquiry into the matter. The teams has also decided to hold geo-fencing of the crime site, however, the concerned authorities are still unaware of the whereabouts of the abducted girl and the vehicle used in the incident.
