‘Killer’ fog causes deadly accidents in different places across country

ROJHAN/MULTAN/LODHRAN (92 News) – The foggy weather on Sunday caused deadly accidents in different places of the country. As per details garnered, at least nine people were killed as truck collided with a car on the Indus Highway near Rojahn. Sindh police and rescue 1122 team reached the spot and shifted to the nearby hospital but eight family members of same family succumbed to injuries. According to details, one male, four females and three children were among dead, however, the truck driver was shifted to the hospital in critical condition. The accident occurred as an over speeding truck rammed into a car. Police has initiated probe of the incident. Meanwhile, the ‘killer’ fog caused also collision between the different vehicles in Lodhran. The accident claimed four lives and 30 injured. On the other side, the severe weather conditions were factors in a deadly accident between a bus and five cars which killed a motorway police patrolling officer and injured at least five people in Jala area of Multan. They were rushed to a local hospital for medical attention. Cold wave has swept most parts of the country while the air quality has been showing no sign of improvement.
