Killers of MQM leader Imran Farooq will be brought to justice soon, says Interior Minister

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar said the killers of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Imran Farooq will be brought to justice soon. Talking to media at the opening ceremony of SMS service at Passport headquarters on Tuesday Chaudhary Nisar said the cooperation with the British police in Imran Farooq murder case is ongoing. Chaudhary Nisar said Rangers’ presence in Karachi is a sign of confidence. “DG Rangers did not say anything beyond the law,” the minister said. The federal minister said that peace was established in Karachi with the efforts of the police and Rangers. He said that no recommendation of replacing Governor Sindh is under consideration. The minister directed the authorities to install security cameras in the city under the Safe City Project within the given timeframe.
