Killing of constables gives signals of start of terrorism in Islamabad: Sheikh Rasheed

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister for Interior Sheikh Rasheed has said that incidents of constables killing gives signals of start of terrorism in the city.

After offering funeral prayer of martyred constable on Tuesday, he said that yesterday terrorist attack happened near Karachi. “It was not an incident of robbery. Head Constable Munawaar was performing his duty when he was martyred in firing,” he added.

He said that this firing was done by terrorists. “It is the first incident of terrorism this year. We need to be high alert. Police have proved by giving life that all forces of Pakistan are ready to sacrifice their lives for safety of the county,” he maintained.

Sheikh Rasheed said that they have traced accusd through their motorcycles.

Funeral prayer of Police Officer Munawaar was offered in Police line. Sheikh Rasheed and a huge number of police officers offered funeral prayer. Islamabad IG Muhammad Ahsan Younas was also present.
