King Salman, Mahathir review relations between two countries

RIYADH (92 News) – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman on Tuesday received a telephone call from Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. During the telephonic conversation, the two leaders also reviewed relations between the two countries and opportunities of enhancing them in various fields. King Salman reiterated the importance of Islamic joint action within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) ambit in order to achieve unity in discussing all issues of concern to the Islamic nation. Malaysia will this week host a summit of Muslim leaders billed as a forum to look at the Islamic world's problems. Leaders from Iran, Turkey, and Qatar will be among hundreds of delegates attending the three-day event set to discuss myriad challenges faced by Muslims.
