Kite string kills eight-year-old girl in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – An eight-year-old girl died after her throat was cut by stray kite string in Karachi’s Sarjani Yousaf Goth on Monday. Yousaf said that he with his daughter Areeba was going to his in-laws on a motorcycle when kite string cut her throat and she died on the spot. He said that Areeba was the youngest among his four children and used to insist on her deceased grandfather. Meanwhile, police have launched a search to find out the kite flyers.
