KP Apex Committee agrees to completely eliminate good and bad Taliban

PESHAWAR (92 News) - The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Apex Committee chaired by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur agreed to completely eliminate good and bad Taliban.

A five-member delegation of the Bannu Jirga also attended the meeting. The committee decided that the government will take action against saboteurs. The government also accepted most of demands made by the Aman Committee.

Talking to the media before the meeting, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that action would be taken against private armed people. “Azam-e-Istehkam is not an operation, but it is a strategy. The police and the Counter Terrorism Department will conduct the search operation. Armed forces’ help will be sought if need for it arises,” he added.
