LANDI KOTAL (92 News) – For the first time in history, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) cabinet meeting held on Thursday in Landi Kotal located in Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA). The KP cabinet meeting held at Jirga Hall in Landi Kotal as it was of the view that. However, the provincial ministers among the KP chief minister attended the meeting. Speaking to the journalists, the KB chief minister said that the government would fulfill the basic needs of education, health and employments of tribal areas as per commitment. “Some people are spreading rumours and the people of FATA should ignore these rumours, the chief minister mentioned. He further said that the PTI-led provincial government held the KP cabinet meeting for the first time in history. He assured that the government must act upon on their promises which were announced to the people. JUI-F opposes KP cabinet meeting in FATA Earlier, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) disapproved meeting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet scheduled to be held today in Landi Kotal. Khyber district ameer of JUI-F Mufti Ijaz said all promises made by the incumbent government prior of the merger were yet to be materialised. He maintained that present situation of the erstwhile-Fata was much more dilapidated than the era of Frontier Crimes Regulation as there was no law to prevail and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government was busy initiating symbolic cabinet meeting in the area, and ignored difficulties of the tribal people.
