PESHAWAR (92 News) - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced to stage a protest against the postponement of the Senate elections.

Expressing his views on Tuesday, he said that they would not let the illegal persons take the oath. "The constitution is being violated. We will fight for the protection of the constitution at each level. The nation should also stand for the protection of the constitution," he added.

Opposition Leader Dr Ibadullah said that the postponement of elections is the bad luck of the nation. Ahmed Karim Kundi said that the elections could not be completed without the reserved members.

Meanwhile, the opposition members have filed a contempt of court petition against KP Assembly Speaker Babar Swati.

The speaker said that the requisition had not been submitted for calling the assembly session and he could not summon the session by his own.
