KP govt files petition in PHC for timely completion of CPEC’s western route

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser on Monday filed a writ petition in Peshawar High Court (PHC) for timely completion of the western route of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Later talking to newsmen, he said that CPEC is a big development project and it will change the destiny of the nation. He said we are not against CPEC but wants the rights of the province. He lauded the role of China in the development of Pakistan. Qaiser urged the federal government to fulfill its promise made in the All Parties Conference in Islamabad few months ago. He said that KP and FATA have been badly affected by terrorism; therefore, special incentives should be given for its rehabilitation.
