KP minister arrested for alleged embezzlement in public funds

PESHAWAR (92 News) - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Mineral Development Ziaullah Afridi was arrested by the KPK accountability commission on Thursday, over charges of misusing authority and embezzlement in public funds.

As per details, the charges also include giving out tenders to favourites.

Ziaullah's party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was not available for comment.
