KPk governor expresses his ignorance about ministers' removal

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman has expressed his ignorance about the removal of ministers from the cabinet. Expressing his views in 92 News’ Program Cross Talk on Thursday, he said that he did not interfere in the matters of the cabinet. “I do not know why the prime minister had removed the ministers. Appointing or removal of anyone does not suit my designation,” he said. He said that the difference of opinion is one thing. “If the difference of opinion is as per procedure, it is justified. Otherwise it is against the democratic norms,” he added. Shah Farman said that they had introduced e-governance. “Now contracts are awarded online and payment is also made online.” About the BRT project, he said that the court had ordered its completion preceded by accountability. “The population of Peshawar has increased manifold due to terrorism. The FATA people should be rewarded for their sacrifices,” he maintained.
