KPK govt decides to resume public transport from Monday
PESHAWAR (92 News) – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to resume public transport from Monday. Addressing a press conference on Friday, Adviser to KPK CM Ajmal Wazir said that transport would be resumed under the standard operation procedures (SOPs). He said that the transport fares would be reviewed keeping in view new prices of POL products. “The commissioners will decide on the resumption of inter and intra-district transport,” he said. The adviser said that they had decided to resume public transport in consultation with the Centre. “Barber shops will remain open till 4pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday,” he added. He said that petrol pumps will remain open round-the-clock.
