No chances of floods as water level rises in River Kabul, says KPK Irrigation Department

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Irrigation Department has said that there was no chance of floods as the water level has risen in different parts of the province. The Meteorological Department reported medium level in River Kabul at Varsak and Naushera. The water flow in River Kabul at Varsak is 68,160 cusecs, while the water flow at Naushera is 107,300 cusecs. The Irrigation Department said that the chances of flood could appear if the water level rises to 140,000 in River Kabul at Naushera. Medium level flood reported in River Sindh at Khairabad Attock and the water flow was recorded at 449,700.
