Kuwait restores family, business and technical visas for Pakistanis after 10 years

KUWAIT (92 News) – Kuwait has restored family, business and technical visas for Pakistani citizens after 10 years.

The development came after a meeting between Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid and Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah in Kuwait on Sunday.

During the meeting, it was also decided to issue technical visas for Pakistani workers in medical and oil fields. Pakistani citizens living in Gulf countries can now also get online Kuwaiti visa.

Thanking the Kuwaiti prime minister, Sheikh Rashid said by lifting ban on business visa, trade will increase between the two countries.

Speaking on the occasion, Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah said that the relations between Pakistan and Kuwait span over seven decades and there is a relationship of love and trust between people of the two countries.

Sheikh Rashid, who is on official visit to Kuwait, also handed over a special letter from Prime Minister Imran Khan to his Kuwaiti counterpart.
