Lahore Qalandars thrash Quetta Gladiators by 37 runs in PSL 5

LAHORE (92 News) – Lahore Qalandars scored a 37-run victory over Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League 5 at Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday. Batting first, Lahore Qalandars scored 209 runs for the loss of five wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Br Dunk smashed 93 runs off 43 balls with the help of 10 sixes and three 4s. Sr Patel made 71 off 40 runs aided by nine fours and two sixes. BCJ Cutting got two wickets, while Muhammad Nawaz, Fawad Ahmed and Mohammad Hasnain bagged one wicket each. In reply, Quetta Gladiators were bundled out for 172 in 20 overs. Cutting hit 53 runs off 27 balls in five sixes and three 4s. Muhammad Nawaz (24), Watson (23) and Fawad Ahmed (13) were other main contributors. Salman Irshad scored four wickets, while SR Patel, Dilbar Hussain and Muhammad Faizan shared two wickets each. Ben Dunk was declared Player of the Match.
