Lahore remains the most polluted in the world with 274 air quality index

LAHORE (92 News) – Lahore has maintained its first position in the most polluted cities of the world.

According to an international organization 274 air quality index of provisional capital was recorded.

According Environment Protection Department surroundings of National Hockey Stadium are the most affected areas with 398 air quality index and 397 in DHA Phase eight.

On the other hand, 379 the highest percentage of air quality index in Faisalabad was recorded while 275 in Gujranwala.

Meanwhile, in different areas there is severe fog. Due to Fog, M-2 motorway from Lahore to Sheikhupura, M-3 from Faizpur to Samanduri has been closed.

Traffic Police Motorway has advised citizens to adopt precautionary measurements and make use of fog lights.
