BAJUR (92 News) - A solider, Lance Naik Samiullah, was martyred in cross-border firing on the security forces at the border post in Bajaur at Pak-Aghan border. According to a statement Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lance Naik Samiullah embraced shahadat after the terrorists opened fire at the security forces border post in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur. Alleged terrorists from across the border fired at an army check-post in the area during which Samiullah was shot. The ISPR added that the army responded to the terrorists resulting in losses for the opposite side as well. On the other hand, Pakistan Army provided necessary medical care to an Afghan soldier at CMH Peshawar. The ISPR stated that the soldier has returned to Afghanistan after fully recovering. Afghanistan Military authorities requested Pakistan Army for medical treatment of an Afghan National Defence Forces soldier on July 14. It is pertinent to mention here that the attack takes place two weeks after three security personnel were martyred and eight others injured after terrorists opened fire at them during a routine patrolling near Balochistan's Kahan village. Security forces were patrolling near Gichak valley in the Panjgur district of Balochistan when they were attacked. "Three soldiers embraced martyrdom while eight soldiers received injuries, including an officer. Five injured are critical," ISPR had said.
