LAHORE (92 news) - An accountability court in Lahore on Thursday issued arrest warrants for former premier Nawaz Sharif in illegal land allotment case. The hearing was presided over by AC Judge Asad Ali. The court asked from police about non-appearance of Nawaz Sharif. The police informed that that he is currently in London and the summon notice has been sent to his residence. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor demanded the court to issue non-bailable warrants for the PML-N quid due to continued non-appearance before court. On this, the court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Nawaz Shah and directed Pakistani Embassy in the UK to act on it.
