SC decides 100-year-old land dispute

KHAIRPUR TAMEWALI (92 News) – A three-member bench led by Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar has decided a 100-year-old case and ordered to distribute the land among the heirs as per Shariah. The CJP remarked that the court is not depriving any heir as per Shariah. The case of a dispute over 5,600 kanals owned by one Shahabuddin was filed in court in 1918. The Supreme Court of Pakistan took up the case in 2005. The heirs thanked the CJP and said that the verdict has established the supremacy of justice.
