Land grabbing: NAB initiates probe against Rana Mubashir Iqbal

LAHORE (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has initiated the inquiry against Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Rana Mubashir Iqbal in land grabbing case. As per details garnered, a widow filed an application to the NAB against Rana Mubashir for illegally occupied land. The NAB accepted the application of widow and has started investigation against the PML-N leader. The applicant alleged that the PML-N senior leader with Khayaban-e-Amin Housing Society occupied land illegally. It also said that Rana Mubashir and his supporters tempered the record in the revenue department. Affected widow hoped of the justice from the Lahore NAB director general. Earlier, the NAB will start a probe against Rana Sanaullah in a case pertaining to irregularities in construction of Faisalabad underpass. It was alleged that Rana Sanaullah tempered the design of underpass in Canal Road Faisalabad and sold the cheap land on expensive prices. It is pertinent to mention here that PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif, Khawaja Saad and Salman Rafiq are already under the custody of NAB in different corruption cases. Meanwhile, the NAB has launched an inquiry in assets beyond means case against Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz.
