Larkana Student Torture: Medical board advises to send Ahmed abroad for treatment

LARKANA (92 News) – The medical board formed to report on student who was tortured by teachers at Cadet College in Larkana has suggested the authorities to send Muhammad Ahmad abroad for treatment. As per details, after the medical checkup of the torture victim, the doctors suggested the authorities to send Ahmad abroad for treatment. The report will be sent to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah. Earlier, a 14-year-old student in Sindh province lost his senses due to alleged torture by his teacher. After being strangled, Mohammed Ahmed lost his speech and suffered a paralytic attack which left his limbs motionless. Ahmed's father Ghullam Ahmed, also a teacher by profession, said the incident occurred four months ago and a few teachers were responsible for bringing his son to this state. He said his son's school told him on August 6 that he had suffered fits. Doctors in Karachi said the condition had been caused due to assault. The parents have been told his treatment is possible in the US but they do not have the money to take him abroad.
