Law enforcement agencies apprehend 200 criminals in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – The law enforcement agencies including Sindh Rangers and Police arrested around 200 criminals, including target killers, in a search operation in Sohrab Goth, Gulshan Iqbal, Shah Faisal Colony, ORangi Town, Korangi, North Nazimabad and New Karachi areas. As per reports, the raids, based on intelligence from different sources, recovered a huge quantity of weapons from criminals. Also, around 70 Afghan nationals were arrested during the raids. Earlier on Thursday, a special apex committee directed the authorities to apprehend criminals and their abettors regardless of political, religious, ethnic, sectarian or any other affiliations. Law enforcement personnel have expedited action in the metropolis a day after the terrorist attack on bus near Karachi`s Safoora Chowrangi on Wednesday which claimed lives of 46 people including women and children belonging to Ismaili community.
