KARACHI (92 News) – Law-enforcement agencies have tightened grip against a close friend of former president Asif Zaradri after collecting evidence of blackmailing business groups. According to sources, Anwar Majeed, a sugar mill tycon, had blackmailed 12 groups including two sugar mill owners, one car manufacturing company, money changer and one Hospital onwer. He had also used 12 DIG and SP rank officers for black mailing. “Business Groups under the debt burden of banks had also become their target.” Sources said that Anwar Majeed used to distribute the black money to the PPP leadership, while four chartered firms have been used to change black money into white.
