Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar expresses grief over SC verdict

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar has expressed grief over the verdict of the Supreme Court.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, he said that political and legal crises have been added to the problems of security and economic problems.

He said that the government had requested the chief justice to united the court. "The six-member bench is tantamount to dividing the court. A full court meeting should be summoned to resolve the matters," he opined.

The minister said that law and justice would prevail if the law was equal for all. "The ECP is an independent institution and has power to give the election date," he added.
