Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar terms technocrat set-up as unconstitutional

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar has termed the technocrat set-up as unconstitutional.

Talking to the media on Friday, he said that there is no place for the technocrat set-up in the constitution.

"Practically it is impossible. The caretaker set-up will be formed after the dissolution of the assemblies. There is no option except the caretaker set-up," he added.

He said that restriction cannot be imposed on the desire and thought of anyone. "Talks about the long-term set-up and economic emergency are going on. There i no place for these things in the constitution," he added.
