Lawyers’ community boycotts court proceedings against target killing

LAHORE (92 News) – The lawyers community held a protest demonstration across the country and boycotted the court proceedings against the target killing of advocate Ameer Haider on Monday. As per details, the lawyers boycotted court proceedings in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan and other cities. In Peshawar, the lawyers took to streets and chanted slogans demanding arrested of the accused involved in the target killing. The lawyers boycotted the court proceedings causing problems for the complainants. In Multan, the lawyers completely boycotted the court proceedings and demanded the arrest of target killers. On the other hand, the leaders of the lawyers said that the lawyers community is feeling insecure, adding that the government should take notice of the target killings.
