Lawyers continue strike for 2nd day over Quetta blast
QUETTA (92 News) – The lawyers have on Wednesday continued boycott of legal proceedings in courts following a suicide blast in the provincial capital which killed at least 70 people and wounded more than 100 on Monday .
Lawyers had called a strike in different courts including High Court in light of the recent suicide bombing. The lawyers will organize condolence references in memory of the martyrs lawyers.
A delegation of Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) has left for Quetta to condole the martyrdom of their colleagues.
Previously, the bomber struck as a crowd of mostly lawyers and journalists crammed into the emergency department to accompany the body of a prominent lawyer who had been shot and killed in the city earlier in the day.
