Lawyers divide into two factions over PM resignation demand
LAHORE (92 News) – Lawyers were divided into two factions over the demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during a convention on Lahore High Court premises on Saturday.
Both sides scuffled and chanted slogans against each other. As a result, glasses of the hall were broken.
They threw chairs on each other.
A heavy contingent of police reached the building and calmed down the situation.
In a declaration, the lawyers demanded that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should resign by May 27.
