Lawyers observe partial strike for LHC benches on call of PBC

LAHORE (92 News) – On the call of the Punjab Bar Council, lawyers observed a partial strike to press for the establishment of Lahore High Court regional benches. A majority of lawyers did not appear in courts across the province. On the other hand, lawyers’ strike entered 20th day in Sargodha, Faisalabad and Gujranwala. In Gujranwala, lawyers also locked the tehsil office to register the protest. People are facing problems due to the strike as their cases are being postponed.
