LDA impounds Ishaq Dar's Gulberg bungalow after court's stay order expires

LAHORE (92 News) - The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) in association with the district administration took a bungalow of former finance minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar into its possession on Saturday.

The district administration confiscated four kanal and 17 marla property (named Hijwairi Bungalow) in Gulberg 3 after a stay ordered earlier obtained by Dar's family from a court expired.

The PML-N leader's family had obtained stay order from a court against the confiscation of his property by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

According to the Assistant Commissioner Model Town, the confiscation has been followed the NAB's orders.

Sources said the authorities also seized cash lying in the bank accounts of Ishaq Dar.
