Leaking of ex-COAS's alleged tax data: Three accused remanded in FIA custody for two days

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Special Magistrate Umar Shabbir remanded the accused, who leaked the alleged tax data of former COAS Qamar Bajwa from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), in the custody of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for two days.

Earlier, the police produced the accused Shahzad Niaz, Arshad Ali and Adeel Ashraf, in court.

The investigation officer had sought five-day remand of the accused. He told court that the accused Shahzad Niaz had sold the data to the co-accused for money. He added that the co-accused had sold the data to the journalist.
