LEAs are close to the killers of Amjad Sabri, says IG Sindh

KARACHI (92 News) – Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh AD Khawaja has said that the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) are very close to the killers of famous sufi singer Amjad Sabri. While briefing the meeting, IG Sindh AD Khawaja said that all aspects in the kidnapping case of Barrister Owais Ali Shah are being reviewed. Chairing a special meeting of the Sindh cabinet, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that the kidnapping of Barrister Owais Ali Shah, son of Sindh High Court (SHC) Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah and killing of Qawal Amjad Sabri are challenges for Sindh government. The Sindh chief minister directed Sindh Chief Secretary for the upgradation of all installed CCTV cameras and to increase the number of cameras in the city. He further directed to immediately formulate a security plan for important personalities and different retired judges. Qaim Ali Shah also directed the IG Sindh to hire 20,000 police personnel on purely merit basis.
