At least 33 suspects arrested in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – At least 33 suspects were apprehended during search operation in Karachi’s Jahangir Road, Baloch Para and Landhi on Wednesday. As per details, on a tip off the presence of criminals in the area, Sindh Rangers and Police carried out search operation in Baloch Para at Jahangir Road and detained 25 suspects. SP Jamshed Quarters said that weapons and drugs were recovered from the possession of arrested suspects, and further interrogation is being conducted from the suspects. On the other hand, an accused was detained in injured condition after alleged encounter in Defense Phase-II area. According to police the arrested accused namely Fayyaz alias Babli was involved in more than 70 activities of street crimes. Meanwhile, three gang war suspects were arrested during a raid in Mari Police and recovered weapons, mobile phones and motorcycles from their possession.
