LHC chief justice urges lawyers to end strike culture

LAHORE (92 News) – Lahore High Court Chief Justice Manzoor A Malik has urged the lawyers to end the strike culture in courts. Addressing the Lahore Bar Association members on Wednesday, he said: “We have to think that the clients should not become desperate totally.” He said that they have to think that what they have done for the betterment of common man. The LHC CJ urged the lawyers to discourage their irresponsible colleagues and improve environment in courts. “How the judges will make decisions if they are not given respect?” he questioned. He urged the lawyers not to be silent spectators. “Lawyers should improve the environment and stop the bad lawyers.” The LHC chief justice said that they will do for the LBA what will be possible. Sessions Judge Tariq Iftikhar, LHCBA president Masood Chishti and LBA president Ishtiaq A Khan also spoke.
