LHC extends Hamza Shehbaz’s interim bail till June 11
On June 3, the Lahore High Court (LHC) had extended the interim bail of Hamza Shehbaz till June 11. During the hearing, Azam Nazir Tarar, counsel for Hamza Shehbaz, had prayed to court to postpone the hearing. “It has been tradition of the LHC to postpone the case during official holidays,” he said. The court asked Hamza Shehbaz to join the investigation like a common man. It remarked that slogans are being chanted daily and High Court has been made Mochi Gate. The court also expressed anger when the NAB prosecutor mentioned wrong reference number of the Saaf Pani case. The counsel said that they considered themselves below the common man. “Today everyone is getting bail.”
