LHC dismisses money laundering case against Moonis Elahi

LAHORE (92 News) - The Lahore High Court (LHC) dismissed the money laundering case against PML-Q leader Moonis Elahi.

The court had reserved the verdict on the application after listening to arguments of both parties.

The court had rejected Moonis Elahi's plea for announcing the short verdict immediately.

The FIA had registered a case against Moonis Elahi. In the petition, Moonis Elahi contended that the money laundering case was registered for political engineering and hence it should be dismissed.
