LHC dismisses plea against closure of markets at 8pm

LAHORE (92 News) – Justice Ijazul Hassan of the Lahore High Court (LHC) dismissed the plea against the government decision regarding closure of markets at 8pm. Naeem Mir, in the petition, contended that business was already at a low ebb due to the power shutdown and it would destroy due to the government decision to close markets at 8pm. The court remarked that markets were closed at 6pm all over the world. “The closure of markets at 8pm will save electricity,” it said.
