LHC dismisses PML-N MPA’s plea against election tribunal

LAHORE (92 News) – Justice Ijazul Hassan of the Lahore High Court on Wednesday dismissed PML-N MPA Rashida Yaqoob’s plea against the election tribunal. MPA Rashida Yaqoob, in a petition, stated that the election tribunal is going to give a verdict on a petition against her without confirmed its status. She pleaded that the election tribunal should be stopped from pronouncing the verdict. The court dismissed the plea, saying that the LHC could not be moved for a relief of the interim verdicts of the election tribunal. Muhammad Ahmed Ludhianvi has filed a petition against PML-N MPA Rashida Yaqoob.
