LHC issues notices to federal govt over petroleum prices

LAHORE (92 News) – The Lahore High Court has on Wednesday issued notices to federal government over a petition for decreasing oil prices according to international market and fixing Oil prices to Rs 30 per liter.

The LHC Justice Mamoon Rashid Sheikh heard a petition of Justice Party, in which the petitioner said that Munsif Awan Advocate said that the government decreased the POL price which is not according to the prices of international market.

The petitioner further said that the government only decreased Rs 5 petroleum prices, while with the decrease in petroleum prices in international market, the petroleum prices should be fixed at Rs 30 in Pakistan.
