LHC larger bench to hear petition seeking treason case against MQM chief Altaf Hussain

LAHORE (92 News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Manzoor Ahmed Malik has formed a larger bench to hear a petition seeking a treason case against MQM chief Altaf Hussain. The larger bench comprising of Justices Mazahar Ali Naqvi, Justice Mazhar Iqbal Sindhu and Justice Erum Sajjad Gull will hear the petition filed by Aftab Virk. Aftab Virk, in the petition, contended that Altaf Hussain has issued a statement against the Army, which is tantamount to treason. He prayed to the court to order a treason case against Altaf Hussain.
