LHC nullifies new delimitations of PP-35 Wazirabad, PP-59 Gujranwala

LAHORE (92 News) - |The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday nullified the delimitations of two provincial constituencies – PP-35 Wazirabad and PP-59 Gujranwala.

The court directed the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to review the delimitations.

Talking to the media after the court verdict, PML-N Senator Azam Nazir Tarar said that 22 percent population had been affected by the new delimitations and the ECP could not provide any justification for it.

On the other hand, the Islamabad High Court issued a notice to the ECP over the objection to the new delimitation of NA-35 Kohat.
